Home School Away From Home

As noted on our Homepage, Home School Away From Home, abbreviated HSAFH, functions very similar to a standard school operation.  All you do is bring your children to an off-site location and when the day is complete, come and pick them up.  In this manner you are free to do the things you want or need to do, which includes not having to personally teach your children at home.  As we noted on our Homepage in the Overview section, HSAFH is a perfect solution for a parent who wishes to have a student enjoy a homeschool education but does not have the interest, ability or desire to be tied to such a concern.  Also, it gives career professionals the ability to fulfill their life long ambitions without sacrificing what they know is best for the CHILDREN. 

What makes this such an incredibly flexible model is you’re child is not “hemmed in” to a forced school schedule.  Let’s say your child had a doctors appointment (or any other appointment for that matter).  No problem. Your child can simply sign out of the “classroom” environment and meet you at your car (or any other manner of transportation arranged).  This can also be done for a whole day or whatever time frame is convenient.  The point is an online education gives incredible flexibility to other time demands. This is all possible due to the self-pacing capability that an online education platform provides, where you can start and stop a lesson on DEMAND.

At this time, our goal is to establish a minimum of 70 students per location. Note that this is a minimum and our hope is to grow the student population to whatever numbers are feasible per location.  With this planning, we hope we can offer a diverse and broad selection of locations for the convenience of the PARENTS.

As in a typical private or charter school type format, transportation will be the responsibility of the parents and student.  However with the advances made in autonomous driving technology, it’s possible you can have your children driven to school in a driverless manner .  This is now being tested by robo-taxis in various cities in America by Waymo and Tesla.  Thus far it’s worked with great success.

We plan on opening our classrooms at 8am and closing them at 4pm.  However these proposed time frames are open to change depending on the needs of the parents.  We highly recommend that you sign up for our email notification system that informs you of the latest updates and developments taking place with HSAFH, which can be done at the bottom of this PAGE.

Between 11am and 1pm, breaks will be provided so students can have lunch, take a break, socialize and go to the bathroom.  However, each student will be responsible for their own lunch (hot nor cold lunches will be provided on-site).  Also, it should be noted that our proctors will have a sign-up sheet to monitor the comings and goings of all students.  Of course, this record will be kept for parents to view as NEEDED.
