Reservations and Signing Up
Although we are not presently open at this time (planning on a Bradenton, FL debut this coming Fall semester for 2025), we do recommend that you sign up on our reservation basis. To do so, simply go to our Sign-up/Reservation link which you can access on the top right hand side of the top navigation bar on every page. Once there, just fill out the form and submit it to us. By reserving a position with HSAFH, we will be able to ascertain the location where you are from (which will help us determine the best location) and monitor the number of students who are interested in the service. As soon as the number of required students meet our operational goal (presently 70 students) to open a location, we will contact you. At this point in time, that’s all there is to it.
ATTENTION: Seeking Proctors
Home School Away From Home (HSAFH) is querying preliminary interest for individuals who desire to work with HSAFH. Our primary need at this time are Proctors. At this time we have availability for Part-time positions. Our initial need will be for locations in the Bradenton area followed by the Sarasota area, where we will be doing the same in that town and surrounding area.
Proctors are individuals that will primarily monitor the classroom for the students who will be attending. You will not need to have a degree or certificate in education to do this. However those who apply will have to meet our qualification requirements and pass a thorough background check. CLICK HERE for more information.
Locations
Home School Away From Home’s (HSAFH) first location is set to debut in the Bradenton/Sarasota metropolitan area. Once established and fully operational, plans are to expand initially into the state of Florida, with a planned systematic expansion into the Tampa, St. Petersburg and Clearwater metropolitan areas. Once these major population centers become viable, we hope to move further out into Florida with a view to markets such as Fort Myers and Orlando. Thereafter, we will be looking to the east coast in markets such as the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale metropolitan areas and northward towards Jacksonville. In the future, we will also consider cities such as Gainesville, Ocala, Tallahassee, Lakeland and Pensacola.
Following the initial roll-out in Florida, we will seriously consider other states outside of Florida. More than likely, our prospects will mostly be concerned with the southeast. However, it is our hope and desire that HSAFH will eventually cover ALL of America. Keep on the lookout on our website where other future locations will be announced. Another way to keep abreast of recent developments is to sign-up for our weekly email letter (planned to be weekly – we will not bombard you with daily or more emails) which will keep you up to date on upcoming events. You can do this by just going to bottom of this page (and every page on the website) and simply entering your email address. Be assured as well that we will not market nor farm out your email address.
Bradenton/Sarasota Locations
As mentioned above, our initial debut will begin in the Bradenton/Sarasota metropolitan area. This will include the township of Lakewood Ranch. At this time, we are searching the most convenient and best suited locations for our customers. To best assess the preferred locations, we have a two tier “sign up” system. If you plan to have your children attend, please reserve a spot. This will establish the student on a first come, first serve basis. If interested but not sure, please use the Sign Up link instead. No obligation. This way we can research the best locations for your children.
At this time, we will be offering HSAFH only to high school students, typically noted as classes K9-12. Once our operation is established and we are ready to expand, we most likely look into incorporating classes K6-8.
